2010 Floral Display and Competition
You are cordially invited to participate in the
CNY Blooms Professional Floral Display and Design competition!
This is an opportunity to showcase your talents as well as your floral business! Arrangements will be on display in the Oncenter lobby throughout our show which runs March 3-7, 2010. CNY Blooms is in its 4th year in CNY and the presenting sponsor is Wegmans. Our Preview Garden party benefits the Jim and Juli Boeheim Foundation.
Rules & Registration
Designers may display one arrangement per category below
“Score” Create an SU Basketball sports themed arrangement.
“Once Upon a Time” Create an arrangement depicting your favorite children’s book.
“CNY Spring” Create a spring in Central New York themed arrangement.
“I DO” Create a garden wedding themed arrangement.
Competition:
- Each category will have a 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winner.
- Judging will take place on
March 3, 2010 from 4 to 6:00 p.m.
- Winners will be announced at our Preview Garden Party March 3.
- Each participating florist receives two complimentary tickets per arrangement to the party which is from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at the Oncenter with free parking in the garage. Additional tickets may
be purchased through our web site.
Promotions for participating florist:
- Business cards can be on display on your table throughout the show. CNY Blooms will provide the
holders and will restock for you if you leave additional cards with us.
- Your business will be listed in 153,000 Post Standard inserts distributed throughout CNY on February
28, 2010 and in 15,000 show programs.
- Your display will be seen by approximately 15,000 people visiting our show floor.
- Your business will be listed on our show web site. All winner's arrangements will be photographed and
placed on our web site with a link to your site.
- Winner will be listed for one year on our show web site.
